Digital Business Transformation Session at Govt. College Sanquelim

The Department of Commerce at Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sanquelim, affiliated with Goa University, hosted an engaging and insightful session on “Click to Success: Understanding Digital Business Transformation” on September 4, 2025. Rohir Naik was invited as a resource person to deliver the talk to the Commerce students.

The session, held at the college seminar hall, brought together aspiring students and faculty eager to understand the evolving landscape of digital transformation in business. Serving as the Resource Person, Rtn. Rohir Naik guided the audience through the crucial aspects of adapting to a digitally driven economy. With his extensive industry expertise, he shared practical insights on how businesses today are reshaping strategies to thrive in a digital-first world. He emphasised the importance of technology adoption, digital marketing, data-driven decision-making, and entrepreneurial adaptability in ensuring long-term success. His way of interaction allowed the students to explore real-world scenarios of how companies have embraced digital business transformation to enhance competitiveness and customer engagement.

The session also highlighted the role of youth as drivers of innovation and change, encouraging students to build digital skills and entrepreneurial mindsets to remain future-ready. He also inspired students with life-changing positive thoughts, motivating them not only to excel in their careers but also in life by setting goals, pursuing dreams, managing time wisely, embracing discipline, cultivating good habits, and working hard to achieve success and earn respect in society, beyond just business and money.

The interactive Q&A that followed witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students seeking guidance on opportunities in digital business, innovation and start-up ecosystems. The event was well-coordinated by Ms. Ishwari Kamat and Ms. Pritam Naik, under the guidance of Mr. Prashant Bhonsle, HOD of Commerce, and Prof. Namdev Gawas, Principal of the College.

Speaking about the experience, Mr. Naik expressed his gratitude for being invited to mentor and inspire students. He highlighted the importance of bridging academia and industry to prepare Goa’s youth for a dynamic digital future.
