Rohir Naik, Founder of Coderix Solutions LLP, attended the 5th Inter-School Science Model Making Competition held on 20th February at Mahatma Gandhi Centenary School, organized in collaboration with Rotary Club of Ponda to commemorate the occasion of National Science Day.
The event brought together talented students from all across all schools from Goa, competing in two categories – 5th to 7th standard and 8th to 10th standard. The young participants presented innovative science models covering themes such as renewable energy, environmental sustainability, smart technology and futuristic solutions.
Rohir Naik expressed immense appreciation for the creativity, clarity of thought and confidence demonstrated by the students. Interacting with participants and observing their projects firsthand, he was inspired by the practical understanding and problem-solving mindset displayed at such a young age. He noted that platforms like these play a crucial role in nurturing analytical thinking, innovation and scientific curiosity.
He emphasized that India’s future in technology and entrepreneurship lies in encouraging early exposure to hands-on learning. According to him, initiatives like this competition not only strengthen academic foundations but also build confidence, communication skills and a growth mindset among students.
The vibrant atmosphere, enthusiastic participation and quality of models reflected the strong commitment of the school towards experiential learning. Rohir Naik commended the efforts of Mahatma Gandhi Centenary School and the Rotary Club for creating opportunities that inspire the next generation of innovators.
