On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Mr. Rohir Naik, Founder & CEO of Coderix Solutions LLP, participated in a community wellness initiative held at V. M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar, Panaji. The celebrations, organised by The Times of India, Goa, in association with the Directorate of Information and Publicity, Government of Goa, Old Goa Oils and Coderix, brought together students and teachers to promote health, wellness, mindfulness, and the enduring value of yoga.
The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, professionals, fitness enthusiasts and teachers who gathered with a shared commitment to promoting physical wellness, mental resilience and mindful living. Through guided breathing exercise and wellness activities, the programme highlighted the significance of incorporating yoga into everyday life as a means of achieving balance in today’s fast-paced world.
For Rohir Naik, being part of the celebration was an enriching experience. He spoke about the growing awareness of wellness and the need to prioritise physical and mental health in an increasingly technology-driven environment. He discussed how modern work cultures often demand long hours, high productivity and constant connectivity, making self-care more important than ever. He further quotes, “Our honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has also taken this great initiative to promote yoga, as it is an integral part of life, and even 20 minutes of daily practice can make a meaningful difference to our health and well-being. In today’s fast-paced world, maintaining a balance between work, life and health is essential.” He appreciated the organisers, Times of India, for this initiative and encouraging more people to embrace yoga as a way of life.
The event also served as a reminder that true progress extends beyond professional success and includes nurturing a healthy mind and body. Initiatives like International Yoga Day inspire communities to adopt positive lifestyle habits, strengthen social connections and promote collective well-being.
By participating in such initiatives, Rohir Naik continues to support programmes that encourage holistic development and community engagement. The celebration at V. M. Salgaocar College of Law stood as a reminder to the power of yoga in bringing people together and inspiring a healthier, more mindful society.
